Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the VAR/Solutions Provider space, specifically within the IT industry.
- Demonstrated history of success in customer service and support.
- A strong passion for sales with a customer-first mindset, not necessarily carrying a sales quota but driven to earn commission.
- Excellent communication skills and a love for interacting with people.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills.
- Willingness to work hard, including putting in extra hours for additional earnings.
- Education in a relevant field is beneficial but not as crucial as hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Account Managers in managing existing clients and prospects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers and distributors.
- Actively participate in weekly sales and commit meetings, contributing to marketing efforts.
- Attend customer meetings both virtually and in-person as required.
- Engage in marketing events, either virtually or in-person.
- Oversee and manage customer relationships on behalf of Account Managers.
- Coordinate with customers for new client onboarding and assist Finance with order issues.
- Work closely with Purchasing to ensure timely placement of client orders.
- Liaise with Vendor Teams regarding order processing.
- Manage all aspects of product and service quoting.
- Register deals with clients and maintain vendor relationships.
- Obtain necessary vendor certifications.
- Place all client orders and communicate order status.
- Collaborate with the Project team on active client projects.
- Work with engineers and solution architects as necessary.
- Assist Account Managers in managing and growing their customer base.
- Achieve growth and gross margin targets within assigned Account Managers.
- Manage negotiated discount structures to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary liaison for customer requirements.
- Attend customer project kickoff meetings.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions with customers and internal team members.
- Develop and maintain robust business relationships internally and externally.
- Make daily critical decisions involving key customer accounts
