Position Overview

Reporting directly to the CTO, Systems Engineer plays a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining our technical infrastructure, which includes production servers, network devices, applications, and systems. This role is also responsible for deploying new infrastructure builds and handling MAC-related activities across all customer accounts.

This role is also responsible for deploying new infrastructure builds and handling MAC-related activities across all customer accounts.

Experience Level: 

4+ years in Systems Engineering or relevant IT roles (Desktop support experience acceptable if comprehensive knowledge in the following areas is demonstrated) 

Responsibilities: 

· Manage, monitor, and administer Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, and Powershell scripts. 

· Handle Azure services including Azure AD, Intune, Office 365, and Azure VMs, vNets, gateways, etc. 

· Administer AWS services, specifically around VPCs, Route53, EC2, S3, and network and security services. 

· Operate VMware technologies, focusing on ESXI 6 7, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN. 

· Manage server infrastructures including Dell vxRail, Cisco UCS, standalone servers, and hyper-converged solutions. 

· Oversee storage technologies like Pure, NetApp, fabric switches (fiber channel), SAN, JBOD, and NAS. 

Qualifications: 

· 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or related IT roles. Desktop support experience is acceptable if it included responsibilities aligned with the above-stated technologies. 

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft ecosystems including Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, and Powershell. 

· Proficient in cloud services (Azure & AWS) including but not limited to Azure AD, Intune, Azure services, AWS VPCs, Route53, EC2, and S3. 

· Experience with VMware technologies such as ESXI 6 7, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN. 

· Familiarity with various server technologies including Dell vxRail, Cisco UCS, standalone servers, and hyper-converged solutions. 

· In-depth understanding of storage solutions including Pure, NetApp, fabric switches, SAN, JBOD, and NAS. 

· Previous experience in deployment engineering roles. 

· Strong project management skills. 

· Ability to work independently and as part of a regional team. 

This is an on-site position located at our Manhattan NYC Office, our East Hanover NJ Office, and at customer locations as required for network, security, collaboration, data center, and IT integration.

This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule, evening, and weekend availability. On-site and hybrid remote work options are available within the NYC metro area.
